About Me – in a nutshell
For decades, I worshipped at the altar of logic and didn’t believe in anything that couldn’t be proven by mainstream science. At the age of thirteen, I realised that I did not believe in God (at that stage my notion of “God” was formed by my Roman Catholic upbringing) and thereafter became a devout agnostic. Although as a teenager I’d been interested in the supernatural and some esoteric subjects, this faded away as I focused on living my life as a materialist. I valued mind over emotions and scoffed at concepts such as “intuition”. As far as I was concerned, death was oblivion through obliteration and there was nothing beyond this temporal existence.
In my late thirties, I underwent a Damascene paradigm shift. Quite suddenly, I realised that there was indeed more to this life than just matter. I started experiencing what I called “mini miracles” in the outer world and receiving all sorts of realisations and insights in my inner world. Words and ideas just came to me. Some of them seemed fantastic, crazy even. I didn’t know what was happening to me, I didn’t have the vocabulary to describe it and I didn’t know who or where to turn to. I felt as if I’d suddenly woken up on an alien planet, without an instruction manual or guidebook. I was also painfully aware, that if I shared the extent of what was going on with me, people might think that I was going mad and have me committed.
This was the start of a fantastic journey that has brought me here, to create this website, over a decade later.
I now have the vocabulary for, and understanding of, what happened to me back then.
At the time of my spiritual emergency, I was keen to explore “my reality”. What was true? What was real? So many things that I had dismissed as fantasy and superstition, could very well be genuine! I wanted to explore and find out; psychic abilities, reincarnation and other lives… but I received, through my burgeoning intuition, a strong and definite message: I should work on myself first.
So I did. For many years.
I concentrated on that and didn’t think of developing psychically, let alone mediumistically, as I thought that the latter was a gift that people either had or didn’t. I’d never had any experiences with seeing ghosts or anything paranormal, so I clearly wasn’t one of these lucky ones. As part of my personal growth, I did work on developing my intuition, for myself, to tune into and better follow Greater Guidance.
Through a series of synchronicities, I found myself at a meditation class where the teacher mentioned that he had one spot left in his psychic development class, and I had the strongest urge to join. So I did. A few weeks later, I participated in a beginner’s mediumship Circle, to try it out, and a couple of weeks after that, through more synchronicity, I also joined an intermediate Development Circle.
It was an amazing discovery to realise that I am a psychic medium. I can do this! I can communicate with “dead people” – and animals! It became my priority to unfold my abilities. The years I had spent working on myself paid dividends. Of course, I continue to work on myself, as this is a perpetual task, like tending a garden. Only now I do this in tandem with my psychic and mediumship development, which grow and branch out in different forms.
I am at a stage now where I am happy to share some of what comes to me, in the form of inspirational poetry.

I love trance mediumship and develop this, alongside evidential mediumship and different approaches to psychic and soul readings.
Over the following months, I will be adding words that have come to me when I sit for trance, in the form of inspirational poetry.
Presently my plate is full, but in 2024 I will be available for readings. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please use the contact form.
Stay Tuned – there’s more to come!

This is a condensed account of how I got to where I am now. I’ll gladly expand on my story and explain concepts like “spiritual emergency”. Although I felt very much alone at the time, I am far from alone in what I went through. The more education and understanding is disseminated about spiritual emergencies and related phenomena, the better people can be supported through this often harrowing and arduous process. It could happen to anyone, due to a variety of reasons or triggers: it may happen to you one day, a loved-one or an acquaintance.
Transpersonal psychology is developing in leaps and bounds and there is support to be found through an array of modalities. More and more scientists, researchers and professionals, from a range of different fields, are reaching the realisation that consciousness is primary. Consequently, concepts that were dismissed as “beliefs” and relegated to the domains of religion and superstition are now being researched and explored. I will be sharing more about this and providing links to organisations and educational material.
